Regarding the NACS fast charging standard introduced by Tesla, major automakers such as Ford, General Motors, Toyota, and Nissan have announced their plans to adopt this standard. Other automakers are also expected to follow this trend.
In response to these trends, EM Devices begun sample provision with a dielectric strength of 1,500V, complementing the existing 1,000V standard model already in mass production. Full-scale production of the ‘AX1-W’ will begin in January 2025. This model is the smallest in its class (*1), contributing to the miniaturization of vehicle chargers.
Additionally, EM Devices is developing higher-voltage AC relays to meet diverse customer needs, including the ‘AX1-U’ with 2,500V dielectric strength and the ‘BX1’ with 2,500V and a high capacity of 60A. These models will be added to the lineup in the near future.
In the rapidly evolving EV market, EM Devices will continue to quickly capture the latest trends and develop products that meet customer needs.
